COLLECTIBLES

We've had the good fortune of finding an artist with a passion for trains who has become an important member of Western Maryland Survivors.

Mr. Daniel Edwards resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has created numerous artworks depicting railroad locomotives and rolling stock in poster form.

Displayed on this page are three of his creations. His Western Maryland caboose poster has appeared frequently on Ebay and is one of his best sellers. It is a very attractive graphic printed on high quality glossy stock displaying the classic Northeastern style cupola caboose which was prevalent on Western Maryland dating back to the 1930s. Each color scheme is represented, along with one of the "Safety Slogan" versions.

Equally impressive is his poster of Chessie System GP40 locomotives. He has produced the color scheme of each component; Chessie System is represented by (C&O) GP40 4089, followed by B&O 3684, C&O 3780, and WM 3799.

Daniel will produce a series of posters for Western Maryland Survivors. We plan to commemorate each surviving locomotive and caboose with a poster depicting their various paint schemes. All posters will be 11x17 and printed on a high gloss stock.

First is this colorful offering displaying SD40 7447. Our plan is to produce one poster per month. These products sell for $10.00 and up on Ebay. For our membership, we are offering them for $7.00 each or all three for $18.00.
